i got the most disgusting suprise ever from sinterklaas. my sisters both do a medical study and most of the time when i'm home they're discussing the most disgusting things they done to dead animals or people over dinner. I can't stand that kind of talk when I'm eating so I always change the subject to something my stomach can handle :) so I had to operate a polar bear that had cancer. only when i succesfully removed the tumor i could get my present :)

I'm celebrating Sinterklaas tomorrow with my family. Sinterklaas is an old dutch celebration that is somewhat similar to the celebration of christmas. An old man called Sinterklaas visits the Netherlands with his "Zwarte Pieten" and he brings along lots of presents for everyone. Every present has a poem that has to be read before the reciever opens the present, and in the poem sinterklaas reviews some things that the reciever has done right or wrong in the past year. thats very funny :D I still have to write all my poems for tomorrow so I think I'm going to get up early tomorrow :D
Some of the presents of Sinterklaas are also packed into a surprise. We draw someone from the family and you have to make a surprise for him/her. Most of the time this is something that also reflects something that person has done in the past and where you can make a lot of fun about :) Luckily the surprise that I have to make for tomorrow is almost finished :)
