I have added September to the rulecam archives. I have also updated the bloopers section, lots of new awfull pics there :)

You can register yourself to the photo-gallery and then upload your own rulecam camshots (that might be interesting for other visitors) into the upload-section of the photo gallery. I first check everything you upload before it is visible to other users, so keep it decent please ;)

new photo gallery

I just finished installing and migrating my entire photo-gallery from menalto Gallery to Coppermine. Coppermine is a gallery with more fun options and works with a database instead of flat files, this should improve the loading speed of the gallery.

In this new gallery you can view the last uploaded, most viewed, top rated and last commented photos. You can still add your comments to photos.  You can also add your rating to photos. You can (optionally) register to the gallery, then your name is always known if you add comments. If you're registered you can also upload rulecam captures you want to share into the photo-gallery.

have fun with it ;)

the elder scrolls: morrowind

You can read my game-review on morrowind right here. It's in dutch though ;) I found it a slow but beautiful game that has much to offer if you've got some time to get started. If you like Role Playing Games and you can get your hands on the Game of the Year edition, you'd better give it a try!

homework...

I'm now following a course called "Game Design" and it has the best homework ever :) We have to play a game and write a scientific review about it (from a game designers perspective). Really cool. I got the game Morrowind, it's some sort of Role Playing Game, a type of game I usually don't play. I just started playing it and I think it's (like all RPGs i've played before) rather boring and slow. You have to walk around in this fake world with elves and orcs and meet people and talk to them.. I just want to shoot everyone on my path and get to the next level ;) but it doesn't work that way.

We also have to create 2 games ourselves using Gamemaker, a piece of software the proffessor of this cource Game Design wrote himself. Got any cool ideas for a 2d game? Let me know ;)
