a few weeks ago i bought a very cool device; a hercules dj console (dutch people can buy it cheap here).

I tried to dj on my computer before, with some nifty software, but controlling it all just with one mouse was not really handy. This dj console controls all the features of the Virtual DJ software so i dont need a mouse anymore. This works just like a regular dj-cd player, but is much cheaper!

remember the exams that i had 3 weeks ago? I passed them both! Thats like a miracle! It's a long long time ago that I passed 2 courses at the same time.. So you can imagine how happy I was when I heard that I got a 7 for introduction to digital image processing and a 6.5 for algorithmics. jeej! (grades go from 1 - 10 here btw)

this means that i have one week off next week, because i dont have to remake any exams! jeej!

Last week I was in Briançon, France. Together with

Guido

on a winstersport trip. We've had a great time! It was sunny all week which was not really good for the snow conditions. Fortunatly the French installed all kinds of snow-machines so most of the slopes were pretty good to ride.

My new snowboard made me faster than ever so we raced down every slope, even the black ones :)

The second exam that I had friday was difficult. With a bit of luck i passed it, although the exercises were all much more complicated than the assignments that we got during the course.

I celebrated my birthday with my whole family yesterday. It was really fun, lots of people came to give me presents :) Got new plants for my room, nice drawings made by my cousins, money, plate and cups to take on a campingtrip, a large sportbag, wax for my snowboard, cartoons, a nice and warm sleepingbag, expansion kit for kolonisten van catan a really cool boardgame, a weigh-beam (im workin out again..) and a sauce-pan set to take on a campingtrip. so i got lots of nice things!

And I bought a snowboard today! I'm going on wintersport next saturday, again together with Guido, just like the past 4 years!
It's an elan-vector with flow bindings and nitro shoes!
