If you want to see a cool, original movie, go and see Pirates of the Carribean! I saw it in the sneak preview night last tuesday, and it was a well made, good looking and nice told pirate movie! Based on a Disney theme-park ride it's a movie with action and humour, and cool special effects.

As you probably know Kajo, Boeke and I make tekno together and I have 2 new songs for you to listen to!

First one we made for the autechre remix contest of xltronic.com, its a remix of autechre's song "arch carrier". We werent selected for the final voting round so :(

I'm now using a new version of Pivot, the best weblog tool ever, for this little lifelog of mine. You won't notice a difference, i have to find a way to implement the new cool features (calendar, last comments list etc) into my little layout :)

you might have noticed my lack of updates recently, both in this blog and on cam and that was because I was away, far away, to italy!
Just like the previous 3 years I went togheter with a bunch of friends. We rented a luxe car and set course for Lago Bracciano, 40 km from the center of rome, 1602 km from my house. We stayed there for a week, taking the train from the center of Bracciano to Stazione San Pietro to explore Rome. It was warm, very warm. 35+ degrees celcius, so it was a good thing we picked a camping that was at the lake, so we could swim to cool us down :)
After the first day in Rome I suffered a severe headache, I drank enough water and stuff, but I think I just couldnt handle the heat..
Rome was very cool, the colloseo, forum romanum, circus maximus, spanish stairs and stuff, I saw it all :)

After a week in the smog of Rome we decided to move over to the coastline of Toscane, to Marina di Castagneto Carducci. Nice beach and campsite to relax and do nothing :) With lots of italians and (thank god) a lack of dutch people.. We went to Pisa to see the tower and stuff (did you know they allow people to go up the tower again?), further we just went to the beach and swum. (italian sea with red flag is like the dutch northsea on a calm day :))

The last 3 days we stayed alongside Lago Maggiore, in the north of Italy. A quit campsite with an owner that warned us 23432423 times that it was a family camping and that we were not allowed to make ANY noise at all after 23:00. (he didnt know that we most of the days went to bed before that time so :)) Beautiful lake and mountains, and a nice ending of a great 2 weeks and 2 days of vacation!
