found a driver for my tv capture card so cam2 is working again. everything is up and running here in my new windows installation, its fresh, clean and fast :) only thing: i threw away all my cool fonts i used to design this site, my logo and stuff :( stupid me..

my windows installation was up and running for almost a year but it all got really slow and filled with shit i dont use and stuff so i decided today to get a clean installation of windows xp again, and everything works again now! i only forgot the name of my old german tv-capture card that i use for cam2, so that one is offline for the moment because i cant find any drivers for it now :)

i was busy updating september also; it took me 30 minutes to select some shots and then my photo upload thingee refused to work :( so september is coming later :)

finished our 3d assignment last friday. we tried to model a 'spider' from the movie minority report. see the results here, or read our report (in dutch)

i just fucked up my second test.. it was about algorithms.. if everything i wrote down is correct.. (euh :)) i'll get a 5. (of 10), and that's not enough to pass this subject.. damn.. i can remake it in the christmas holliday, like 2 january or something and thats fucked up..

studied all weekend for a test that i have tomorrow. it's about computer graphics and stuff, the same subject as i created the eye for. i have to know everything about how 3d modelled scene's are rendered to a 2d image, and that can be complicated.. :) luckily i find it more interesting than all the boring maths subjects i had last year so its easier to push myself to read everyting ;)



you might have seen me wearing a rulecam.net sweater this weekend, or saw me drinking out of a rulecam.net mug :) my cafepress store is reopened again! so if you want to be hip with are rulecam mug, shirt, sweater or whatever, check the store and buy something!

we're modelling a creature that scans eyes in the movie minority report, so we also needed an eye :)

you can even see the creature reflecting in the white part of the eye :)

due to some technical problems the robotcam is not controllable right now. i hope its fixed soon :)

today the new webserver for rulecam.net will be placed @ trueserver, amsterdam. this new server is much faster and more reliable than the one this site is running on now so :)

it could take up to 2 days before your ISP's 'nameserver' notices that rulecam moved to another service so until that happens you see the 'old' rulecam, and you miss any updates...

rulecam.net moves to another server this weekend. this new server is much faster and more reliable then the one i'm using now. the new server is located in Amsterdam, the old one stands somewhere in New York or something :)

There shouldnt be any downtime or something, the 2 servers will run concurrently till all the nameservers notice the change of server. The only thing that could happen is that you dont see an update that i peform (on the new server) appear, 'cause you'll be looking at the pages on the old one then. it can take up to 2 weeks till you're computer notices that the server moved and you're able to visit the 'new' rulecam.net..

Another 3d study, this time a flying disc, with a red eye that spreads light out, looking at a bloody ball (that has to be replaced by an eye in the final version)
