It is snowing the whole day here in the Netherlands. We haven't had this amount of snow in 20 years!

it's freezing here. this morning while i was riding my bike to school it was -7.. brrr... but it's good weather to go ice-skating! unfortunatly there is no natural ice yet, but we went to the ice-skating track in Alkmaar yesterday to celebrate my aunt's birtday. I hadn't skated in 3 years but it went pretty good! I can't do pootje over, a technique to get around the corners really fast, but I managed to keep up with my mom and uncle who took skating lessons last year :)

ps. i really should get a mobile phone with a better camera :)

Yesterday it was my fathers birthday and he's really into chinese food, but we usually don't eat it at home because both my sisters don't like rice.  But because it was his birthday my mom took us out to a wok-restaurant :) Really cool, you can combine your own wok or grill plate there. Just give it to a chinese chef who woks or grills it for you in a minute.  Even my sisters liked it, because you could also just eat meat or fish with vegatables.

I stopped using the MSN messenger program because I hate all the new functionalities :D So I installed GAIM, a multi-protocol messenger and that means that you now can contact me again through ICQ (uin: 2948224) , MSN messenger (rule60@hotmail.com), AIM (rulecam) or Yahoo Instant Messenger (id: rulecam) :) Feel free to add me to your contactlist!

Last year I had a pain in my neck and shoulders when I worked behind the computer or studied for a long time. This pain always disappeared in a day or two. But now it is worse, I feel this pain in my neck and upper-back permanent for over 3 weeks now :( I started with Mensendieck-therapy. They learn me how to sit, stand and walk again but now in a way that I don't use my neck and shoulders too much, so now I have to sit up straight and stuff :D Not really comfortable, but it helps. And they make me do all kinds of funny exercises to relax the muscles in my back.

Yesterday I went to the Sneak Preview. You just go to the theater without knowing wich movie you're about to see. The movies that they show are all movies that will premiere in The Netherlands in the next few weeks, so sometimes you get to see a really cool movie before the rest of the country gets the chance. Yesterday we saw the new Clint Eastwood movie Million Dollar Baby. It is a really good film about female-boxing, showing the good and the ugly aspects of the sport. Eastwood also brings up some ethical and social issues and does that pretty good :D Million Dollar Baby deserves all the Oscar nominations (best actor, best actress, best director, best picture and more...) it recieved. I rated Million Dollar Baby with an 8 out of 10.
