Browsing the web I encountered this videoclip for Weird Fishes by Radiohead made by Processing artist Flight404. It is just so cool and fits the song perfectly:

its a shame it did not make it to the semi-finals of the radiohead video contest.

Yesterday I went to a concert of Fixkes, a belgian band that sounds like Jack Johnson with lyrics that are in a Flemish dialect that I can hardly understand :)

I just returned home from my vacation to Italy. I went there with 4 of my friends. One week we hiked and mountainbiked in Tirol, near the passo allo stelvio. Nice high mountains there, we hiked to 3200 meters.

For the second week we moved into Tuscany near the beach in Viareggio. Nice area with lots of old towns (Volterra, Lucca) and nice beaches. And the campsite had a cool animation program for each evening:

Radiohead just released their new video for House of Cards. It was shot without a camera. Lasers were used to make 3D images of Thom and the resulting data was visualized in this video. The results are cool but also a little chaotic. The cool thing is that you can download all the source data of the video and create your own!

If you’re curious how they did it, check the making of. The chaotic effect was on purpose, they distorted the 3D scanner with a plexiglass thinghee.
